Description:
A fashionable, stylish hat with a "star" pattern, knitted in Jacquard technique.
Yarn of two colours was used for the product: blue and white. The hat was knitted for a girl, but I think, such a model will be suitable for a boy, too.
Knitting of this hat requires experience and patience. It is very important to draw loose threads correctly on the back side. If you pull them too tightly, the hat will be stiff and the pattern will be distorted. If you place them too loosely, stitches will get stretched and become uneven.

Cast on 90 stitches.
Row 1: 1 selvage stitch, *knit 1 stitch, 1 yarn over* repeat from *to* up to the end of the row, 1 selvage stitch (=178 stitches)
Row 2: 1 selvage stitch, * knit a yarn over, slip a purl stitch, yarn forward *, repeat up to the end of the row, 1 selvage stitch.
From row 3 through row 9: 1 selvage stitch, *knit 1 stitch, slip a purl stitch, yarn forward * repeat from * to *, 1 selvage stitch.
Row 10: purl, slip evenly 62 stitches (2 purl stitches, purl 2 stitches together, repeat up to the end of the row). 116 stitches must remain.
Knit further according to the scheme.
